Eligibility criteria & Conditional sale
- 1. Judiciary with pay of Rs.2,25,000/- and above, All India Service Officers (Tamil Nadu Cadre), State Government Officials, Permanent officials of State Public Sector Undertakings / Statutory Boards, Universities drawing Basic pay scale of Rs.56,100/- (Pay Level 22) and above (Scale of pay with effect from 01.01.2016) and Judicial Officers drawing basic pay scale of Rs.39,530/- and above (Scale of pay with effect from 01.01.2006)
- 2. The applicant should not have already availed the benefit of allotment under Government Discretionary Quota (GDQ) within the limit of Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority area / allotment under Own Your Housing Scheme in their name or in the name of their spouse / dependents to be eligible for applying under this scheme.
- 3. The Allottee under this scheme shall not be entitled to sell the allotted flat for a period of 10 years from the date of handing over of the flat by TNHB.
- 4. Allotment under this scheme will be done only to one member, if both husband and wife are Government servants
- 5. After allotment of flat, if the particulars furnished by the allottee are found to be false by TNHB, the said allotment order will be cancelled after providing due notice.
Application Process and Procedure of Allotments:
- 6. The applicant has to fill the online application along with necessary supporting documents such as Photo, PAN card, Address proof, Pay slip, etc.
- 7. Rs.1,00,000/- for Judiciary, AIS Officers (TN Cadre) and Rs.25000/- for State Government Officials including Judicial Officers, Permanent officials of State Public Sector Undertakings / Statutory Boards and Universities through Online.
- 8. The applicant shall also pay the application fee of Rs.525/-(including GST) through online or Demand Draft.
- 9. The Demand Draft has to be drawn in favour of “The Executive Engineer and Admin. Officer / Special Project Division – II, TNHB”, payable at Chennai. If payment mode is DD, receipt will be generated and application will be considered for acceptance only after the DD is realized at TNHB.
- 10. The submitted applications will be assigned an application number and the same shall be intimated to the applicant through e-mail and SMS.

Schedule of Payment:

- The 10% of the flat cost shall be paid by the Allottee within a period of 21 days from the date of issue of provisional allotment order and the balance 85% to be paid at the earliest with interest applicable. The 5% of the cost and GST shall be paid at the time of handing over of Flats.

Late payment interest:
- For the lapsed instalments and for the payment made after instalment due date, interest as per TNHB rules will be charged.
- Allotment will be done on First Come First Serve basis till 30.09.2024 or till the available units are cleared whichever is earlier.
Mere submission of application will not guarantee allotment.
The allotment will be done to eligible applicants on First Come First Serve basis.
